A Crafty Mother's Day

I spent the day doing what I enjoy! I played with my Copic markers and made cards for the troops.

I used the Fireman Luka stamp by La-La Land Crafts. I just love this little guy!

Also by La-La Land Crafts, Capri Marcy. Their little faces are so cute.

I used two stamps from the stamp set Take A Seat by C.C. Designs. It's part of their Sugarplums line. This is a really great set it includes 5 various sitting girl stamps and 1 sitting boy stamp. It also includes 6 stamps of things they can sit upon.

Butterfly Cards

Christy and I went to Googley Eyes and Craft Supplies on Saturday and took a card class. We used the most beautiful butterfly stamps!

First I stamped the image twice. I completely colored in the first image with my Copic markers. On the second image I colored the butterflies and cut them out. I folded the wings forward from the body and glued them (only the body part) on top of the first image. What an awesome effect! To top it all off I applied glue to the desired areas and sprinkled it with clear glitter.

My mother is going to LOVE her Mother’s Day card. I can’t wait create another one.
