I just love, love, love Reverse Confetti stamps and Dies! I am totally addicted and can't get enough of them. Here are are a couple of my recent card projects that I created for their monthly sketch challenge.

Summer Card Camp, Week Three, Day Two

I really enjoyed making my card for today. The lesson was about finger inking. I am pleased with the outcome and will use this technique again.

Summer Card Camp, Week Three, Day One

I was really inspired by the colors this week. I was able to get right to work after dinner tonight and complete my card. It all just came together quickly.

Summer Card Camp, Week Two, Day Five

I made it through another week and two more left to go. I am beginning to really like the homework on Friday because we are given 5 or 6 new color combos to choose from. Having a large selection makes it a bit easier to find just the right paper to use.

Stamps: Heidi Among The Flowers, C.C. Designs and Fringed Phrases, CTMH

I used the following Copic markers

Hair: E11, E15, E18
Skin: E00, E02, E11
Dress: R81, R83, R85
Flowers: YR21, YR23
Grass: G21, G24

Here is the color combo that I used (minus the blue):

Summer Card Camp, Week Two, Day Four

We learned about the design principle of Contrast and how it applies to cardmaking, with an emphasis on patterned paper. Using the principle we learned we were to create a card using the color combo of the week and one of the sketches they posted.

Summer Card Camp, Week Two, Day Two

I gave it my best shot and it still wasn't much to be proud of! Hopefully one day I will perfect this technique. It was a reverse embossed image. I pressed the whole Versamark ink pad on my paper, then applied clear embossing powder to the area. Next I applied Versamark to a stamp and stamped it over the already embossed area to remove the power from the paper. Then I used the heat gun to melt the embossing powder. This left the stamped image open to color. One of the biggest problems was that the stamp didn't remove all of the powder where I stamped so the coloring area was not really a very good surface to color.
